Teacher Appreciation Month

Hi, Everyone, May is FGIS Teacher Appreciation Month!

All students! Please bring a flower for their teacher this coming Monday May 3rd. The teachers will have vases ready in their classrooms. This is the beginning of Teacher Appreciation Month (May). We will be doing something special fro All our teachers each Monday in the month of May.

Fourth and Fifth Grades! Please help out with school supply donations on Monday May 17th as a way of participating in Teacher Appreciation Month! Maestra Maria just gave us a teacher discussed list. see below:

Here is a list of supplies that we came up with today at our meeting:

(Our most needed classroom supplies)

~big crayons for kinder

~glue sticks

~multi-color dry erase markers

~pink pearl erasers

~pencils

~Crayola fat markers

~multi-colored wide sharpies

~blue painters tape

~primary pencils

~tape refills

~crayons

From your FGIS PTA

Welcome back from break!

Our next PTA meeting is Tuesday, April 27th at 7pm and will focus on the upcoming STAR testing and how to help your child prepare. Childcare will be provided, coffee and pastries as well.

Another School Garden and Improvement Day this Saturday the 24th from 8 to 4pm . We'll be joined by volunteers from Menlo Park Presbyterian Church who are also sponsoring a BBQ lunch for all the hardworking volunteers! Bring the whole family!

And Gryphons Soccer is supporting For Kids! foundation by donating 10% of the program fees for their spring and summer camps.
